Approach to Therapy
As a therapist, I am interactive. I strive to provide a balance between helping clients to discover their own perceptions and preferences and providing my own input.
I begin my work with clients by developing a thorough understanding of each person's unique situation and social context. In this initial phase of treatment, I conduct a thorough review of each client's unique history with regard to interpersonal, familial, cultural, career, and economic factors.

The primary focus then shifts to consideration of each client's current situation. The goal here is to understand and develop new ways to think about and adapt to current challenges.
My current therapeutic approach is eclectic, integrating both psychodynamic and cognitive theories.
